Creating reels for social media is a fun and strategic way to engage audiences—from holiday highlights and themed weeks to everyday moments that keep your feed active and relevant. I love finding creative ways to bring stories to life visually and build consistency. Reels are a powerful tool to spark connection and boost visibility.

Our HR team invited all of our Granite employee’s children to participate in a Kids Calendar drawing contest. The winners images were put into a printed calendar that I designed and was gifted to all employees. I animated the kid’s drawings and we posted the winner at the beginning of each month on our social media channels.

An informational reel I made to recognize our Granite’s annual Sustainability week. I created a series of reels that highlighted projects we featured in Granite’s annual Sustainability report.

Theme Week Content

I create content for company theme weeks that focus on celebrating and highlighting our people. This includes crafting posts around employee quotes, testimonials, and submitted photos to authentically showcase our team and their stories. Each campaign is designed to foster connection, showcase our work, and reflect our company culture.

Holiday Graphics

I specialize in brainstorming, organizing, and creating engaging holiday content for social media, including Instagram Stories, LinkedIn posts, and Facebook posts. I enjoy finding creative, playful ways to present our industry to audiences—celebrating key moments, sparking engagement, and reaching both loyal followers and new viewers alike.

Sidewalk Saturdays

From the Spring of 2021 through the Fall of 2022 I worked for the city of Morgan Hill as their event Marketing Designer for a seasonal series called Sidewalk Saturdays. Sidewalk Saturdays hosted a space for local businesses to sell their products and provided the community with an opportunity to shop small.

I attended every weekend and photographed hundreds of images that featured customers shopping and product images from the small businesses.

With the photos I captured, I curated weekly social media content to feature on the business profile for Instagram and Facebook. At the end of each weekend, I edited the photos and organized photo libraries to share with vendors for their own personal use on their social media channels.
