Signature Safety Event 2026
As part of National Construction Safety Week 2026, Granite Construction hosted a large-scale signature event at the CREATE Project in Chicago, drawing over 300 attendees to one of its most significant active jobsites.
I partnered with safety leadership to lead the end-to-end creative direction and branding, designing a full suite of materials including invitations, environmental signage, feather flags, table centerpieces, and custom enamel coins. I also captured the event through onsite photography.
Over a six-month timeline, I navigated multiple stakeholder reviews and coordinated with both local and global vendors, ensuring a seamless execution and on-time delivery across all touchpoints.
Signature Safety Event 2025
During Construction Safety Week 2025, Granite Construction held a signature event at the American River Bridge in Sacramento—bringing together over 200 attendees in recognition of the company’s commitment to safety.
I partnered with the local safety manager to design a cohesive set of event materials, including invitations, signage, table centerpieces, and commemorative enamel coins. I also supported event coverage through onsite photography.
As my first large-scale event, this project was a significant professional milestone. I oversaw the creative process from concept through production, navigating multiple rounds of feedback and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery across all elements.

Granite Construction’s Centennial Celebration
On January 4, 2022, Granite turned 100 years old. The year included internal and external festivities that celebrated Granite’s employees and all of their hard work and dedication to the company over the years. The corporate office held a local celebration and I assisted with the event branding.
The project spanned several months. I scouted the event space to secure spots that would be best for the signage. I sorted through Granite’s photo libraries to choose the best photos, designed each banner, and worked with local printers to arrange printing and installation.
It was exciting to see the final product of my work come to life!
100 year collage
What began as a simple collage for social media became the artwork that was featured throughout the year in a variety of marketing mediums, from the external website to printed banners. I scoured through hundreds of photos to select images that represented Granite’s markets and highlighted the diverse employees that work for Granite.
Window decals
These window decals highlighted a project milestone that occurred in each decade. I searched and dug through historical archives to find the older photos (two most right panes). I then used photo restoration in Photoshop to colorize the older photos that were originally black and white.
